Baker 30E, Breen-1253 variety. One of perhaps a dozen known according to Rulau.
An interesting piece with the distinctive corded rim – perhaps the only edge variant on any coin in the entire colonial series that is clearly visible from the obverse and reverse (even when viewing the piece in a PCGS holder).
And this is a handsome, collectible example.
Well struck (which is not always the case with this issue) with rich chocolate brown color and just enough crust in the letters to indicate that this coin has not been cleaned or enhanced in a couple of centuries.
In short, our kind of coin.
