Also interesting is that the two portraits used are not the same, with Washington appearing older and perhaps a few pounds heavier on the ONE CENT side. No idea why.
One thing is clear, however: This present piece is about as nice an example as we’ve seen, with a strong strike and arcing die lines in the fields.
