Edlitz-1129 variety, struck in silver plated white metal. Designed by US Mint Engraver Anthony Pacquet in the same dramatic 3-D style as the Wiener medals of the period, though this is made in the U.S. and much larger at a full 80mm in diameter and 10mm thick.

And while this piece has some scattered lines and marks in the fields, it is a pleasing example of one of the most impressive and dramatic issues we’ve ever handled.
