Breen-206, W-11500 variety, the distinctive Redbook type with the Halo Around St. Patrick’s Head.  Estimated by us to be Low Rarity-7.

And this is a wholesome, original piece with lovely color, choice surfaces and a sprawling splasher highlighted in shades of golden brass and deep brown.

We have been fortunate to handle a couple of these through the years, including the Picker coin in our Archive, sold by us about 8 years ago, and STILL the most recent one of these to appear on any dealer’s list.  Until now.  And while the present specimen is not in that lofty category, it is a pleasing example of an issue that is extremely difficult to find in any grade and missing from many advanced collections.
