A second Gun Money issue, this the smaller diameter Half-Crown variant struck just before the pivotal Battle of the Boyne in July 1690 which saw the Dublin mint seized and the Catholic King James II flee to France. 

Made by the James press at the Dublin Mint, this example is about nice as these ever come with original golden luster remaining on the obverse and reverse.
