A dramatic, interesting and extremely large piece which can be dated (approximately) based on the place names used, such as the Sandwich Islands for what is now Hawaii and New Holland for Australia.  Also of note (and not surprising given the era) the United States is seen shoe-horned into the eastern seaboard of North America. 

And this is the best one we’ve ever had, fresh as the day it was made, with reflective fields, considerable cameo contrast on the land masses and excellent eye appeal.
