Rulau-E9 variety, 73.8mm. Struck in Copper, the only example we have been able to trace in this metal.
A dramatic and interesting piece which can be dated based on the place names used, such as the Sandwich Islands for what is now Hawaii and New Holland for Australia. Also of note (and not surprising given the era) the United States is seen crammed into the eastern seaboard of North America.
The piece itself is rich mahogany brown with no noticeable marks, spots or flaws and is most appealing as such.
In all, an unusual offering unlikely to come again anytime soon.
