Fieweger-343, Struck in Silver by C. Wermuth. 26.5 mm.
A visually striking medal satirizing the corruption of the Imperial Commission.
With a fat fingered hand offering a gold-colored coin on one side surrounded by the legend KOMSTU MIR ALSO [translated as YOU SCRATCH MY BACK], and an Imperial Commission member concealing his face on the other surrounded by the legend SO KOMME ICH DIR SO [AND I’LL SCRATCH YOURS].
The piece itself is a lovely silvery gray (save for the little gold coin), with choice surfaces for any coin of this era.
Undoubtedly weird, unquestionably interesting, very cool and totally, without a doubt, CRO.
