OK, here’s the deal. We see many of these Thick Plancht Elephant Tokens through the year, but pass on the overwhelming majority based on dark, unappealing color, planchet flaws, rim issues or some combination thereof.

But this is a wonderful, original piece with choice surfaces, nice golden brown color and considerable eye appeal.
