Hodder 2-B, W-12040 variety, Thick Planchet type.  Considered to be Rarity-2 as an issue but quite possibly unique in this condition.

This is the single highest graded Elephant at PCGS (and a rival for most any colonial issue of any kind, anywhere).

With a hammered strike, giant, wide, bold denticles, lovely original golden brown color just faded from full red and off-the-hook eye appeal.
