Always an issue near and dear to your author’s heart, as I received a Jefferson Nickel struck on a 1¢ planchet as a gift from a local dealer waaaaay back in 1969.  I still have that coin, by the way.

But while that one was nice, it can’t hold a numismatic candle to this gem with Jefferson strikingly rendered in nearly full RD copper.
