An interesting issue celebrating the sesquicentennial of Lynchburg, Virginia and bearing the sedate obverse portrait of Virginia Senator Carter Glass (best known for co-authoring the Glass-Steagall act of 1933 which established the FDIC).
Remarkably, and with all due apologies to the descendents of Mr. Glass, we have only ever offered this issue twice before in the looooong history of CRO, and a perusal of those prior listings in our database confirms that this golden toned, undergraded, old holdered, gem+ is indeed the coolest one we’ve ever had.
Note that this coin has been verified by CAC with a Gold sticker indicating that it exceeds their standards for this grade level.
