J-628 variety, with the obverse portrait as seen on the regular issue 3¢ Nickel.  Struck in Copper with a Reeded Edge and a massive flat rim.  Considered to be Rarity-7+.

The piece itself is a lovely chocolate brown with flashes of vibrant red in the devices and housed in an old and rare PCGS Doily holder used by them only in the fall of 1987, and now avidly sought by collectors three decades later.
