Breen-666 variety, considered to be at least High Rarity-6. 

A really pleasing, original example of this very rare silver dime-sized medalet which is highly sought after by collectors of Civil War and Confederate States material. 

This piece was once looped at the top for suspension (as were apparently all of the known examples), and there is a planchet lamination in the central reverse, but this still may be the most attractive (if not the finest) example known of this issue, with pleasing silvery gray color and nice natural luster remaining.  Cool pedigree too!
