A rich, original, golden and gray Seated Dollar with lovely, choice surfaces and a piece that CAC liked as much as we do.

And that’s saying something, since CAC is notoriously tough on this type.  The total CAC rate is unpublished, but we’d guess less than 15% of these pass muster.

Of the ones they have stickered (2,277 in MS and PF according to CAC’s own census as of the date of this writing), just 27 (1.2%) have been awarded a Gold sticker.

And this is one of ’em.

Note that this coin has been verified by CAC with a Gold sticker, as noted, indicating that it exceeds their standards for this grade level.
