A neat (and, at 59.6 mm, extremely large) piece with a bust of Washington on the obverse, and a smaller bust atop a pyramidal display case filled with medals on the reverse (and, while that display case is extremely small, we think it might include an example of this particular medal, in which case we would have one of those infinite loop things going on where that little tiny medal has a picture of an even smaller display case filled with medals on it, and so forth, and so on). 

The piece itself is nice silvery gray with splashes of teal and golden orange toning that come to life when you twirl the medal in the light.

Housed in a gigantic NGC holder that looks like a big book (hence the “Tome” reference above).
