HT-M24 variety, struck by Gorham Manufacturing Company circa 1900 for jeweler C.D. Peacock to commemorate the founding of the firm in 1837. Considered to be Rarity-9 (i.e. unique) in this Silver composition.
Another token bearing this neat TIME IS MONEY design, though we note that the time on this one is about 9:11 vs the 10:14 on the previous piece. Curious that.
Also interesting: As noted above, this is the only example of this variety documented in silver, which explains why we jumped all over this piece when it was offered to us. We also liked that it was a problem free original unc.
The fact that it comes with this cool original box is just a bonus:
In all, a fleeting opportunity for the specialist (or anyone else who likes unique numismatic items).
