Julian-MT-21, struck in Bronze at the Philadelphia mint on regular large cent planchets. 

The celebrated new steam presses struck these medals on March 23, 1836 (with MAR 23 punched over FEB 22 – the original date the ceremony was to be held). 

A beautiful deep, rich mahogany color with satiny mirrors.
