BD-1 variety, Square Base 2, 13 Stars type. Considered to be Rarity-5.
One of just two known varieties of 1832 Half Eagle, BD-1 has an extant population of 30-35 coins. The other variety, BD-2, is prohibitively rare with just 5 or 6 known.
And of the total surviving population of 1832 Half Eagles of perhaps 40 pieces, this superb, original, well pedigreed gem is the single finest known circulation strike.
With rich golden color, lovely surfaces and exceptional eye appeal for this issue.
