Kleeberg 07A-P5 variety, with Carlos IV style bust, Carlos II legends, and made-up mintmark and assayer initials.  One of 9 specimens known to Kleeberg, though we estimate that it is probably more like Rarity-6. 

This is one of the interesting counterfeit examples of this denomination known to have circulated fairly extensively in early America. 

The piece itself is brass, with good color, ample luster, and relatively nice surfaces for one of these normally crudely engraved and struck pieces.

Overall, this possesses a level of quality seldom seen on any example of this type.
