Overton-101, the Large 3 Redbook variety as listed on the PCGS label. Considered to be Rarity-3.
As an interesting aside, most 1803 half dollars were delivered in 1804, and many were likely made in that year (though none would bear that numismatically interesting date).
And this is a very choice specimen on the cusp of Extremely Fine.
Both sides are ringed with pretty blue-green toning (of a shade that we’ve seen before on other halves of this date), fading to an original golden gray in the central portions.
