At the FUN show, we had the opportunity to observe a couple of dozen examples of this type either at lot viewing or in various dealer cases, the overwhelming majority of which were totally unoriginal, scrubbed to near-death and coins we would not even consider purchasing.

The happy exception:  This lovely, original piece with its 215 year-old skin intact, pretty toning and excellent eye appeal.
