A beautiful example of a very rare coin. 

While many early dimes – even quite a few in slabs – are either impaired or just plain ugly, this coin is a happy exception. 

Delicate gold, blue and silvery-gray toning, with traces of mint luster in the protected areas. 

Quite eye-appealing too, with the raised areas of the design toned a lighter color giving the coin a ‘circulated cameo’ look.
