1796 Small Eagle $10, NGC AU-58. Quite attractive and with a significant amount of luster remaining about the periphery of the coin. The 1796 $10 is much rarer than the 1795 $10 often used for type purposes, but currently sells for only a small premium. The strike is very strong, with a high percentage of breast feathers visible on the eagle. A treasure of early American numismatics.
