Middlesex-Stinton’s D&H-904.

One of the really neat Conder issues, this with the extremely well detailed and slightly creepy giant grasshopper on the obverse, and PATENT COCAO WAREHOUSE on the reverse.

This one is a lovely, lustrous chocolate brown (fitting, for the issue!) with bright mint red in the letters and is another piece we thought would grade higher.  Oh well.
