First of a neat group of End of Pain tokens on our list, this a less common variant I do not believe we have ever offered before.

With the morbid depiction of Thomas Paine hanging from a gibbet on the obverse, and MAY THE KNAVE OF JACOBIN CLUBS NEVER GET A TRICK on the reverse. That inscription plays on the double meaning of Knave for a rogue and a Jack in a deck of cards (a reference to the Jacobin Club, a far-left political movement at the time of the French Revolution, though the term came to refer to all supporters of revolutionary opinions).

And this is a lustrous Choice Unc. with nice color and surfaces.
