KM-50, Dav-1285 variety, one of just 44,000 pieces struck at the Brussels mint.
A neat issue featuring a rampant lion holding a sword in its human-like, opposable-thumbed right hand, a feature sufficiently noteworthy that it became the subject of a CRO ad in October of 2007 when we coincidentally featured this same specimen.
And this is quite a nice example with choice surfaces and pleasing, original 18th century color (unlike the majority of survivors which have been dipped and cleaned through the years).
