The thick Ornamented Edge variety was missing from Ford (the most complete collection of Mott Tokens ever assembled) and almost every other major colonial collection we have traced.

Just one tiny clip at the rim bears mention, otherwise this is a lovely chocolate brown piece with hard smooth surfaces that is relatively well struck for this challenging issue, with a sharp eagle, complete legends, and no die break at the clock.
