KM-Tn5, Pridmore 5-H, a variety known only as an original striking (as opposed to one of the typically seen PF restrikes) as evidenced by the characteristic die break in the left obverse field just starting to form.
And this is a neat issue with the national symbol of Barbados, the delicious Pineapple, surrounded by the legend BARBADOES (in its Portuguese form with the E in it) PENNY, while the other side shows a Barbados native with a crown and tri-feathered headdress above the words I SERVE.
It also happens to be the finest 1788 original we’ve seen, with exceptional luster, superb surfaces and some flashes of red in the devices.
