A wholesome, rich brown with nice surfaces and good obverse detail for this type, while the reverse is typically flat – the result of having been struck from a terribly worn die.

Not quite the equal of the superb Britannias we have handled in the last couple of months, but still better than the overwhelming majority of examples of this type.
