Maris 39-a variety, as noted, one of the less commonly seen varieties in this series (actually, we don’t ever recall owning another).  Considered to be Rarity-3. 

And this is an excellent example, generally recognized as the 2nd finest known of the variety with nice medium brown color and a pleasing original look.
