Maris 33-U, W-5110 variety, considered to be Rarity-4.

A bit of a sleeper issue in the NJ series, this is just the second example of Maris 33-U we’ve ever offered, the last being a low VF coin in 2012(!).

And they don’t tend to come in especially high grade. Indeed, the Siboni-Howes-Ish condition census for this variety tops out at AU and goes down to VF+.

Making this PCGS graded XF45 quite a desirable example which would be difficult and expensive to improve upon (if you could find a suitable piece, and we’re not sure you could).
