A difficult coin to grade.

This is a fairly late die state of a design struck in quite shallow relief. But much of the original detail remains and there is very little actual wear on this piece.

The reverse figure in particular is about as sharp as we’ve ever seen on this issue.

Rich chocolate brown with lighter highlights and pleasing for the type.
