Miller 6.1-M, W-2820 variety, considered to be Rarity-1.
This is the highest graded example of this issue at PCGS, and among the finest known of this popular Redbook type.
Just a tiny planchet flaw, as made, at 10 o’clock on the obverse rim bears mention, but it is overwhelmed by the rich, original medium brown color, extremely sharp detail and impressive mint luster remaining on this specimen.
Ex Bowers March 2002 sale of the Wayne S. Rich Collection, lot #1040.
