Ryder-8, W-2030 variety, considered to be Rarity-4.
One of the most popular colonial types based on the charming Vermont landscape scene, but very tough to find in pleasing condition. Most of these are found poorly struck on inferior planchets, and while this one is not perfect, it’s pretty nice.
With smooth surfaces, nice medium brown color, nearly complete legends and a relatively bold landscape scene. In all, a good choice for type, with the next step up in quality likely to be a very expensive one.
Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
