Maris 16-L, W-4840, the Protruding Tongue (so named due to a tongue-like die break at the horse’s snout).  Considered to be Rarity-2.

A handsome, chocolate brown and quite well made example of this scarce and popular issue, and one which is extremely difficult to find in grades higher than this one.
