Miller 2.2-D.2, W-2475 Noble Head variety, the only use of this obverse or reverse die in the entire Connecticut series.  Considered to be Rarity-6 as a type but utterly unique in this incredible condition 20+ points higher than the next best survivor

This is your author’s favorite Connecticut variety, but unfortunately most survivors are found in very low grade, with rough surfaces and other issues.  So of course I was delighted to acquire this fantastic, golden brown XF which is by far and away the finest known example.  Wicked pedigree too.
