A relatively common type here offered in the rare unbroken state of the reverse die without the typically seen massive vertical die crack.

This piece (one of about 2 dozen in total we’ve traced without the crack) is a lovely, original golden brown without a significant flaw or defect to be seen – and that is also unusual.

For whatever reason, more than half of the early die state pieces we’ve traced exhibit scratches, damage or other significant impairments.
