Breen-1011, W-1785 variety, Short Worm type.  Considered to be Rarity-4+. 

An unexpectedly nice Chalmers from an even more unexpected source – this piece surfaced in an obscure French auction a few months ago having apparently resided in an old family holding, undisturbed, for the last couple of hundred years.

Crisply struck, well centered and with a lovely old golden and gray patina.
