This is the first one of these we’ve handled in about 2 years if I am not mistaken.

Its a common coin, but we rarely find examples that we actually like.

This one is nice. The color is an attractive and original golden brown, not as mottled as usually seen on this issue.

And while there are some technically sharper coins kicking around in high grade slabs, most of those have lost their originality somewhere along the way and simply aren’t as attractive as this piece – they also tend to be about 3 times more money.
