A near perfect, original circ. with a beautiful, old-world patina that is very hard to find on this type.

Indeed, most of the examples we see are corroded, spotted or otherwise impaired (even pieces in high grade slabs of both services). 

And while we wouldn’t pay anything for those (literally), we were not going to be denied on this lovely example.
