Julian CM-15b, struck in Bronze in 1876 at the Philadelphia mint from copy dies by Joseph Barber. 67.9 mm.

And this is a gigantic and impressive piece with a bold and richly symbolic design.

An obverse allegorical America represented as a Native American princess holding a veritable cornucopia is seen greeting immodest Mercury as Commerce, with a ship representing Atlantic trade beneath the legend TO PEACE AND COMMERCE and 4 JUL . 1776 in Roman numerals in exergue.

With the first version of the Great Seal of the United States ever executed in medallic form on the reverse.

And this is a lovely, original gem example with excellent eye appeal.
