A lovely, frosty PCGS certified example with pretty golden toning on both the obverse and reverse and ample luster remaining.

A choice piece, arguably fully mint state with a strong well balanced strike and no problems. There are just some light little ticks on the obverse above the crown and to the right of the Pillar of Hercules which we mention for accuracy and which hardly detract.

Pillar Dollars are not rare in today’s market, but the overwhelming majority seen are worn, or cleaned, or impaired or are downright unattractive. This piece is a happy exception, with bold details and exceptional eye-appeal.
