An amazing piece, this is the oldest full red coin we’ve ever owned, or seen. 

Some very slight mellowing of the red and some gentle pull away color above the letters in GEORGIVS add to the eye appeal and connote originality on this 258 year-old coin. 

Suffice it to say this is not something we see every day.
