Betts-389, Breton-514, Frossard-33 variety, struck in Silver with a Reeded Edge.
A rare issue with Louis XV on the obverse and beavers building a dam on the reverse beneath the legend NON INFERIORA METALLIS (which translates as Not Inferior to the Metals, suggesting that the products of the colonies were not inferior to silver and gold).
The piece itself is a fantastic, lustrous Choice Unc. toned in lovely shades of blue, rose and gold as is well captured by our cropped PCGS TrueView photos.
