Breen-616, Vlack-257 variety, struck at the Strasbourg mint. Considered to be Rarity-2.
A frankly astonishing piece which is, to the best of our knowledge, the only example of this type graded as high as MS65 by PCGS.
The strike is typical for the issue, and there are some striations as made, but the luster is exceptional, the original silvering is completely intact, there is not one iota of rub on the high points, and, in all, this piece looks as fresh and pristine as the day it was minted 266 years ago.
