A stunning piece with unusually and incredibly sharp detail, especially on the reverse, which is why we have chosen to feature that side on our inventory page.  Which is not to say that the obverse is not bold, too – it is, with just a few curious planchet striations at the base of the neck, as made, noted for accuracy.

Through the years, we have seen just a few Hibernias with similar sharpness, some of which were designated as "Specimen" strikings by PCGS.

In all, this is a lovely piece with rich chocolate brown color, some very faded mint red lingering in the devices and wonderful original surfaces of the sort that are often conserved to a high shine, but not by us.
