Interestingly, at some point PCGS changed their designation of this type from a ‘5 Sols’ to a ‘5 Sol’, which sounds a little like calling a half dollar a ’50 Cent’. So we’re sticking with the plural version in our title.
The coin itself is sharply struck, richly toned in pretty deep blue, subtle rose and golden orange and wholly representative for type.
