And this is a very scarce coin.
We would estimate the surviving population at perhaps 60 or 70 pieces in all grades, with not more than 4 or 5 in true mint state.
As such, this is among the finest surviving examples of this 338 year-old type, with ample original luster and especially attractive light olive and golden toning.
