A less commonly seen variant of the Small Planchet type, and one that typically comes with some degree of striking weakness on the lower left obverse.

And while this one does exhibit a bit of that softness, it is better made than many we’ve seen, nicely centered, neatly framed by a border of denticles on the obverse and reverse and quite appealing as such.
